Who I am

Bruce Petherick is a piano player and composer who has worked in many musical styles. He has accompanied Dame Kiri TeKenawa and played with the Woody Herman and Count Basie Big Bands. He was the Musical Director for 5 Guys Named Moe and Jekyl and Hyde, and many other professional shows in Melbourne in the 1990s. He has also conducted Opera and choirs in many parts of the world and his compositions have been performed in Canada, Australia, and Chile. Since moving to Calgary, Alberta from his native Melbourne, Bruce has played with most of the city's top performers in all styles. Bruce is just about to finish a 4 year stint as Music Director at the Unity Church of Calgary, and he has just finished a 4 month run at Stage West Calgary.
